- How many 5-star reviews do I need to raise my Google rating?
- It depends on how many reviews you already have. The formula is: reviews needed = current count × (target − current rating) ÷ (5 − target). This calculator does it for you and assumes every new review is 5 stars, which is the best case.
- Can I ask only my happy customers?
- No. Asking only the customers you think will be happy is called review gating. Google's policies don't allow it, and it can breach consumer protection rules. Ask everyone the same way; good work does the rest.
- Can I delete bad reviews to raise my rating?
- Only Google removes reviews, and only ones that break its policies (spam, off-topic, conflicts of interest). A calm public reply usually helps more than the review hurts.
